In 2010, it was acquired by XEMC Windpower Ltd., based in Xiangtan, Hunan, China, and renamed XEMC Darwind B.V. For many years, together with numerous colleagues, we exclusively designed a wide range of turbine types to meet the growing demand in the offshore wind market. Today, we see a rising need for large floating structures with one- or two megawatt class machines.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: Poppins, sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Poppins, sans-serif; color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); word-spacing: var( --e-global-typography-text-word-spacing ); text-align: var(--text-align);\">As of mid-2024, both companies have been renamed.
